3. FINANCIAL REVIEW
-
a. at present we have no assets beyond our modest bank balance, other than gifts of manuals, models and personal memorabilia.
-
b. We therefore have no material financial investments and have set no policy for such
-
c. The principal risks facing the charity are that we fail to achieve our immediate target – that of preserving examples of the huts in Deverell Barracks, in which case we would continue to work on our other ongoing programmes, including the Oral History Project.
-
d. It has been appropriate to incur no liabilities while we have no assets against which to offset these. We do not intend to incur any liabilities at this stage.
-
e. Funding during the period has been from donations and grants.
-
f. At the end of the reporting period, the charity held £858.85 in its Unity Trust Bank account.
-
g. No commitments beyond the cost of operating the bank account, the charity website and charitable rate subscriptions to Microsoft and ESRI have been identified.
-
h. The cost of these commitments has been underwritten by a corporate donor, who has undertaken to provide £500 per annum to the charity.
-
i. Future programmes will not be embarked on without funds having been secured to cover the cost of their implementation and completion.
