The Cylch is operated by a management
commitee elected at the Annual General
Meetng. The day-to-day actvites of the
charity are carried out by a leader, an
assistant, and two additonal staf
members, who are paid either a wage or
an hourlyrate.

The Cylch provides pre-school educaton
to local children through the medium of
Welsh. It receives funding for children
aged three and over and also ofers places
for children aged two to three, funded
through a combinaton of Flying Start and
paid contributons. We also partcipate in
the 30-hour free childcare scheme for
children of working parents. Regular
fundraising actvites are organised
throughout the year to help subsidise the
runningcosts of the Cylch.

The Cylch contnues to thrive, delivering
excellent early years learning for all
atendees. The setng was fully booked
again for the 2024–25 year, refectng its
ongoing popularity. The Cylch also
successfully organised several well-
atended fundraising events, which help
provide additonal resources and fund
educatonal trips.

Any reserves at the end of the fnancial
year are retained in the bank account and
used as needed during the following year.
The fundraising target is set with
consideraton of these reserves.

The Cylch is in a fnancially sustainable
positon, supported by consistently full
atendance.
Further fnancial review details The Cylch receives Welsh Government
funding for 10 hours of pre-school
educaton for children aged 3–4, as well as
funding for up to 30 hours per week for
children over the age of 3 whose parents
are working. The Cylch charges £35 per
week for an additonal morning session
for these children. Children aged 2–3 can
atend three afernoon sessions per week
at a cost of £30 per week.
Grants from the Educaton Department
are provided on a case-by-case basis for
children who require one-to-one support.
The Cylch commitee and staf also
organise a number of fundraising events
throughout the year to help subsidise
running costs and fund educatonal trips
for the children.
