The Cylch is operated by a management
commitee which is elected at the Annual
General Meetng. The day to day actvites
of the charity are undertaken by a leader
and assistant and two additonal staf,
who arepaid a wage or hourlyrate.

The actvity undertaken by the Cylch is to
provide pre-school educaton to local
children through the medium of welsh.
The Cylch receives funding for children
over the age of 3 years and also provides
places for children aged 2 – 3 years which
is a mix of fying start funding and paid
basis. We also open for 30 hours free
funding for children of working parents.
Regular fundraising actvites are
organised throughout the year to
subsidise the runningcosts of the Cylch.

The Cylch contnues to thrive and has
contnued to deliver excellent early years
learning for atendees. The setng was
again fully booked for the 23-24 year,
showing how popular the establishment
is.
The Cylch successfully held several
fundraising events which were well
atended. These events support the Cylch
to ofer additonal resources and
educatonal trips.

Any reserves at the end of the fnancial
year are kept in the bank account and
used as required during the following
year. The fundraising target is agreed
consideringanyreserves.

The Cylch is in a fnancially sustainable
positon due to it being fully atended on a
constant basis.
Further fnancial review details The Cylch receives Welsh Government
funding for 10 hours of pre-school
educaton for children aged 3 – 4. and
also funding for Children ages over 3 for
working parents of 30 hours per week
The Cylch charges a rate of £22 per
week for an additonal morning session
for these children. Children aged 2 – 3
can atend 3 afernoon sessions per
week at the cost of £24 per week.
Grants from the Educaton Department
are provided on a case by case basis for
children who require 1:1 support.
The Cylch commitee and staf arrange a
number of fundraising events
throughout the year to subsidise the
running costs of the Cylch and to fund
trips for the children eachyear.
