Objectives and Activities

The charity’s purpose is to operate for public benefit to advance the education of students and alumni of Kingston College High School (Jamaica). In pursuit of this objective, the charity undertook the following activities during the year:

Achievements and Performance

Scholarships

Academic scholarships were awarded in the year, following a formal recommendation process by Kingston College.

Recipients were selected on the basis of financial need and academic merit, aligning with the charity’s commitment to educational advancement.

Four scholarships totalling £2500.00 were granted to enable recipients to continue their studies and pursue educational opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach.

Student Welfare (Meals)

Funding of £500.00 was granted to Kingston College (administered by the Bursar and Guidance Counsellors) to support the provision of meals for needy students, helping to ensure that students can focus on learning without undue hardship due to food insecurity, addressing basic needs to promote equitable access to education.

Kingston College Chapel Choir

Funding of £500.00 was granted to the Kingston College Chapel Choir to support the delivery of choral programs and initiatives that enhance students’ musical education and extracurricular development, benefiting participating students and the broader school community.
