Such other means, including (but not limited lol the provision ol support or signposting to other relevant information and adwsory services. Achievements and performan¢e The foodbank has continued to operate sUc￿SsI￿11Y during 2024-25. The total number ol beneficiaries as per the register as compiled for KAVS questionnaire of February 2025 is 176 adults and 134 children,. this includes 24 families with 3 or more children, 4 01 which had 5 or more children. Income and expenditure Isee Financial Review belDwI are both signilicanlly lower than last year, largely due to the increased cost ol living. Increased food prices have made the food parcels more expensive. The value ol goods distributed is approximately £4,500 a month. However, it is important lo note that although monetary income is lower there has been a significant rise in large donations ol food. For example, a young local 7yr old boy and his father completed 2 sponsored 2k runs in aid ol the loodbank. On the first occasion they raised more than £700 and second time over £500,. in both instances they purchased food from the local supermarket and delivered it lo the loodbank. Throughout the year the foodbank has received fflany generous donations of tood and toiletries as opposed to donations of money which is most helpful. The loodbank operates a system where it requires clients lo 'lake a break, for one month out ol every three where possible. Additionally, interviews were Conducted wrfth named clients lor each case assessed, and individual agreements were decided with each client, to the satisfaction ol both client and a loodbank official. During February 2025 we increased the total number ol Trustees to 7. Several ol the volunteers have completed and passed Training & Development.. Emergency First Aid al Work Course. Flnan¢lal revlew The CIO received £9.406 in donations and grants during this period.. ils expenditure was £13,069. As mentioned above significant in-kind donations ol lood are also received from individuals and from local schools, churches and businesses el¢. The CIO held a bank balance of £10,758, and £8 01 cash in hand on 31st March 2025.
