the charity’s objectives in line with
governing documents. Engagement is
voluntary based and is not permanent/ or
formal employment, but activity based.
Remuneration of costs such as transport
fare which volunteers may incur in
engaging with the charity’s activities can be
reimbursed based on the funding available
and allocated to each activity.

online and face to face workshops,
equipping attendees with self-help

was 25 people per session.
The attendees feedback post the
workshops was that they noticed better
capacity to tolerate uncertainty, and
manage stress better, anxiety, worry and
low mood better, noticing an improvement
in mood and motivation , and engagement
in pleasurable, social and relational
activities.

Other attendees reported that they found the workshops beneficial, particularly that they felt equipped with practical strategies which they were implementing. Further reported benefit for wider society included improved productivity, improved sleep, reduced reliance on mainstream NHS health services as before for stress related symptoms, and reduced sick leave days from work.
