To relieve sickness and to preserve and protect good health among persons, through the provision of medical assistance, financial support, and practical advice. 3. To advance the religion of Islam for the public benefit in accordance with the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
The charity provides grants to organisations and services. The charity relieves financial hardship in Watford and surrounding areas by providing emergency food to individuals and families in need. In addition, the charity also relieves financial hardship in Pakistan by making grants to provide or to assist in providing food, clean water, clothing, shelter or training to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
Charity commission requires the trustees of a charity to:

Select suitable accounting policies, apply them consistently, make judgement and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;

Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless there is a reason to believe that the charity will not continue for the foreseeable future.
The Trustees are responsible for the keeping of proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Act 1993. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence to take reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the period ended 31 / 05 / 2025 .
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the CIO, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
