We want lo further expand our membershlp, and 88 8uch, we have. Ilke last year, provided a year'8 membership as part of the Conference admlssion fee lo non-member5. We have successfully 50ughl sponsorship from phamiaceutlcal ￿MpanIeS, which enable5 us lo provide the conference free of charge to our mgmber5. I continue lo be hugely thankful to Harnek Chera our Honorary Treasurer., Harnek utlllses all hls buslness k￿￿edge and h88 made savlngs and gathored financlal inslghts lo benefit BGTHA. After last year's conference Ivan Aloysuis jolned the Executive Commilte8. Jan8 Wilson-Howdrth has taken on the role of A¢ling Editor of the journal, for whlch l am eternally grateful. Jane brings a wealth of writing experience lo the role. Presently our committee comprises Ihw doctors, two nurses and four pharmacists. There are thre8 vacancies in th8 Executive Committee so there are opportunities to bring in fresh Kjeas and passion to the Execullve Committee. Please contact me, or any of the Commlllee should you wi¥h to nominate yourself. As always, my heartfelt thanks to all on the BGTHA Executive Committee for their hard work throughout this year. FUTURE PLANS We ¢ontlnue lo present the electronic version of the Travelwise Joumal, as an educational publication with relevant material to praclilioners who provide, or have an Interest in. any type of Travel or Global Health servlce. Online publication has resulted in huge cost savings but also enables us to present articles in a timdier fashion. As alway5, w8 are seeking new authors so please let us know rf you would like to write for us and we can forward you a copy of the author guidelines.
