The financial year has been adjusted on advice from our accountants to coincide with the standard or fiscal financial year in the UK. Governing Document: The organisation 15 a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Foundation Modell whose only voting members are its charity trustees, incorporated on 19th February 2023 and registered as a charity with the Charity Commission on 23rd March 2023. Charitable Objectives: To advance such charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales as the trustees See fit from time to time, for the benefit of those living in North Lancashire and South Cumbria and the surrounding areas. Main Activities: The 3R Foundation raises funds for local small charities. community groups and clubs primarily Ibut not exclusively) in the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area through the 3R I'Recycle, Reuse, Rehome'l Charity shop in Carnforth. We specifically aim to quickly and efficiently support organisations, that have modest financial requirements, that would otherwise have nowhere to turn to. We support charities, clubs and groups that offer benefits to the local community with quick and 'ea5y to apply for, lower value grant awards of £250, £5(XJ and £IOCxJ. Review of Activities- During the second year of trading the 3R Charity shop proved once again to be very well received and sUPPOrted by the local community and consistent sales support this. The concept of a Community Charity Shop raising money for the local community is easily understood, especially now the results can be seen in the extensive grant reports on our social media and website. The profits in this financial year allowed the 3R Foundation to award 133 grants totalling nearly £73.000 to 121 local clubs. community groups and small charities. The projects that our grants have supported have planted new flowers and shrubs, purchased vital kitchen equipment. repaired and updated clubhouse facilities. provided hand and power tools, supplied a huge range of sports. safety and rescue equipment and most importantly allowed organisations in our community to carry on doing what they do best, knowing that if they need a modest amount of financial help quickly then they can come to the 3R Foundation. and continue to come back again in future. 3R Fotsndation- Re9iStered with the UK Charity Commission- Charrty Number. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 I'th8 Act").
