with the Charity Commission on 23rd March 2023.
Charitable Objectives:
To advance such charitable purposes according to the law of England and Wales as the trustees See
fit from time to time, for the benefit of those living in North Lancashire and South Cumbria and the

Main Activities:
The 3R Foundation raises funds for local small charities. community groups and clubs primarily Ibut
not exclusively) in the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area through the 3R I'Recycle, Reuse,
Rehome'l Charity shop in Carnforth. We specifically aim to quickly and efficiently support
organisations, that have modest financial requirements, that would otherwise have nowhere to
turn to. We support charities, clubs and groups that offer benefits to the local community with
quick and 'ea5y to apply for, lower value grant awards of £250, £5(XJ and £IOCxJ.
Review of Activities-
During the second year of trading the 3R Charity shop proved once again to be very well received
and sUPPOrted by the local community and consistent sales support this. The concept of a
Community Charity Shop raising money for the local community is easily understood, especially
now the results can be seen in the extensive grant reports on our social media and website.
The profits in this financial year allowed the 3R Foundation to award 133 grants totalling nearly
£73.000 to 121 local clubs. community groups and small charities. The projects that our grants have
supported have planted new flowers and shrubs, purchased vital kitchen equipment. repaired and
updated clubhouse facilities. provided hand and power tools, supplied a huge range of sports.
safety and rescue equipment and most importantly allowed organisations in our community to
carry on doing what they do best, knowing that if they need a modest amount of financial help
quickly then they can come to the 3R Foundation. and continue to come back again in future.
