The Boys Youth Club aimed to nurture leadership, teamwork, and good values in a safe environment. Through social, edu¢ation81, and recreational activities, ytsung boys were encouraged lo develop a strong sense of community and responsibility Girls Youth Club." The Girls Youth Club provided similar opportunities for young females, ¢realing a supportive and inclusive space where they could engage in activrties designed to build confidence and friendship. The club also hosted special workshops on topics relevant to youth, contributing to their personal and spiritual development Emaan Explorers Madrasah.. A major milestone for NMMA in 2023 was the launch of the Emaan Explorers Madrasah. This educational initiative offers Islamic education lo children, leaching Quran, Islamic studies, and moral values. The madrasah is structured lo ¢ater lo diffent age grtsups, prowding a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners to develop spiritually and academically. Summer Community Event.. NMMA hosted a vibrant Summer Community Event, bringing together individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. The event featured an array of activits'es designed to engage all age groups, including food stalls offering a variety of deliciou5 Ireals, mocktail 5talion5, and henna painting. Children enjoyed the bouncy castle, arts and crafts, and face painting, while the community connected over shared experiences. This event not only provided fun and entertainment but also fostered a sense of unity and promoted cross-cultural understanding ilhin the local community. Girls Ramadan Workshop.. During the holy month of Ramadan, NMMA organised a special workshop for girfs, focusing on the spiritual and practical aspects of fasting, prayer, and charity. The workshop included interactive discussions and activities designed to deepen the participants, understanding of Ramadan and its significance. Tarawih (Night Prayers).. As a one-off event during Ramadan, NMMA held Tarawh prayers, providing the community ilh the opportunity lo perform these special night prayers in congregalitsn. fostering a deep sense of spirituality and communal worship during this sacred time. Weekly Men's Running Club." In line with our goal of promoting physical well-being, NMMA launched a weekly men's running dub. This initiative encouraged members of the community to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, while also providing an opportunity for men to bond and strengthen social ties. Our focus remains on ensuring the continued quality of our servi¢e$, while striving for improvements. As we strengthen our existing programmes, we wll also explore opportunities for future expansion to better support our communty. Accounting Policies 1.1 Basis of Accounting The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the applicable Accounting Standards , the Statement of Recommended Practice Accounting and Reporting by Charities published in March 2005. The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below. 1.2 Incoming Resources Voluntary income and donations are included in incoming resources when they are receivable, except when the donors specify that they must be used in future accounting periods or donors, conditions have not been fulfilled, then the income is deferred. The income from fundraising ventures is shown gross. with the associated costs included in fundraising costs. 1.3 Resources Expended Resources expended are included in the Statement of Financial Activities on accruals basis, excluded of VAT where applicable. Expenditure that is directly allributable lo specific activities has been included in these cost categories.
