Para 1.20 During the period of this report, the charity
raised in excess of £37,000 from financial
donations, and over £10,000 from sales of
pre-loved clothing, homewares and peace
signs, from pop up events , auctions, raffles
and solidarity gatherings.
Over the same 16-month period we sent
£37,820 directly to the hospital in Sana’a,
Yemen, as well as paying over £4000
towards the cost of a ventilator. We also
sent £11,994 in Zakat payments, which are
donations received from British Muslims,
which are distributed to those families most
in need, by the doctors at Al-Sabeen
hospital.
Funds sent have contributed directly to the
welfare of families receiving treatment at
the hospitals, as well as funding transport
to work for the staff of the children’s wards.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 03 / 2024 .

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
