|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|During the period of this report, the charity<br>raised in excess of £37,000 from financial<br>donations, and over £10,000 from sales of<br>pre-loved clothing, homewares and peace<br>signs, from pop up events , auctions, raffles<br>and solidarity gatherings.<br>Over the same 16-month period we sent<br>£37,820 directly to the hospital in Sana’a,<br>Yemen, as well as paying over £4000<br>towards the cost of a ventilator. We also<br>sent £11,994 in Zakat payments, which are<br>donations received from British Muslims,<br>which are distributed to those families most<br>in need, by the doctors at Al-Sabeen<br>hospital.<br>Funds sent have contributed directly to the<br>welfare of families receiving treatment at<br>the hospitals, as well as funding transport<br>to work for the staff of the children’s wards.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31 / 03 / 2024** . 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
