Due to the ongoing administrative issues described in last year’s Trustees’ Report, the OWA was still not functioning fully as a CIO, and shall be filing a ‘nil return’ to the Charities Commission for the period ending 30/09/24.
However, we are pleased to report that, the land registry transfer of the grounds at Hayes from Old Wilsonians’ Association to the Old Wilsonians’ Association CIO was completed and that we now have a bank account in the name of the OWA CIO. Therefore, the OWA will fully transition to operating as a CIO with effect from 1 October 2024. in accordance with the resolution passed at the AGM on 15/12/22. Our first full submission to the Charities Commission will be for the year ending 30/09/25.
