There are two trustees, Oliver and Joanna Mulhern. Further trustees will be recruited as the charity expands, and will be recruited in line with the needs of the charity.

The charity is managed by CEO Emily Harrison.

The charity currently does not have a bank account, all of the costs of the charity are paid by the founder.

Our activities are focused on delivering first aid training to communities. A separate Limited Company by Guarantee OCF LSS LIMITED (14277535) has been established to deliver

accredited training that will generate additional income to support the delivery of free training in communities.

All employees are employed by the Limited Company and activities are fully funded by Oliver Cookson. All funds have been accounted for through our Limited Company, which was submitted to Companies House.

Achievements and performance, including reporting on its public benefit

Since the registration of the charity on 22nd November 2022, we have worked with other charities, community groups and schools to deliver free first aid training, so participants can become life savers. As at 31.03.2024 we had trained 6,051 people to be life savers across Greater Manchester and the north west, including working with The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust), Manchester City Council, Sure Start and a range of local charities and community organisations.

We also worked in partnership with British Heart Foundation, Resus Council and St John Ambulance on a research pilot to increase access to defibrillators and free first aid training.

  1. We do not publicly fundraise, and no grants have been applied for by the charity. All delivery costs for our charitable activities have been funded by Oliver Cookson, total investment from 11 November 2022 to 31 March 2024 is £254,539.
