Para 1.20 | This is our second year as a registered charity, although Torbay Bikers for Kids has been a fundraising group for the 5 previous years. The Charity Commission required the charity’s first year’s accounts to be from 10th November 2022 until 30thSeptember 2023, a period of ten and one third months. This year’s accounts are a full twelve-month period. A significant amount of the money raised in the period was due to the chair’s husband raising funds for the charity with the hire of his personal collection of funeral hearses and wedding cars, with driver, where the money for their hire is donated directly to the charity. The charity has had excellent feedback on social media and in personal messages from all the parents and guardians of the children the charity has purchased essential items for, including how the essential item has, or will, improve the life and or, education of the child. |
