PROMOTING THE PRODUCTION AND PRESENTATION OF WORKS OF DRAMA BY WOMEN AND LGBTQ+ PEOPLE.
Several activities were undertaken by the CIO during this period for the public benefit in line with the objects of the charity.
In 2025, the CIO received approximately £22,000 of funding from the Open University to develop our environmental project centring on myths of birds, when I will be a bird . This was spent on revising the script and carrying out two weeks of devising and development in the rehearsal room, culminating in a work-in-progress sharing at Theatre Deli in London. A recording of the sharing is available here: https://youtu.be/W_qI3GCwaYw. Two performances were attended by around 50 people in total, with positive feedback. This work was conducted primarily by women and LGBTQ+ artists.
Summary of the main activities The CIO also received the first tranche of funding (approx. £5000) from undertaken for the public the CoastARTS academic funding grant of which we are an artistic benefit in relation to these partner. Throughout the period of this report, the CIO maintained a suite of free-toaccess resources on YouTube and SoundCloud, including recordings of previous productions, companion podcasts, and discussion sessions. The CIO also maintained a social media presence on BlueSky and Instagram, and launched an account on TikTok, to continue engaging audiences with our content, and developed specific content for paying supporters on Patreon including behind-the-scenes updates.

Section D Achievements and performance
The charity’s biggest achievement in this period was staging a full-length Summary of the main performance in person for the first time since before the COVID-19 achievements of the charity pandemic. Development of this project will now continue into 2026. during the year Another achievement was the award of approx. £22,000 in grant funding from the Open University. This facilitated the continued development of when I will be a bird and associated workshops, to engage audiences with mythic storytelling, climate change, and specifically to promote new work created by women and LGBTQ+ people.
The charity maintained a social media following of over 250 followers on Instagram. Our presentation of Here She Comes , a poetic retelling of Euripides’ Bacchae by SJ Brady, has been played on YouTube and SoundCloud over 500 times. Episodes of the Mythcrashers podcast had been played over 130 times.

| report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of By Jove Theatre Company (“the ClO”) for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the ClO, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
