In Newham. we will continue lo develop and roll out our'conversakn'on Cafe5 model, expanding opportunib'es for parents, carers, and wider community members to engage in slruclured, facilitated csialogue with schools. Alongside this, we plan lo extend the model lo other areas where there is interest. supporting relats'onship-building beiween schools and the communits'es they serve in different local contexts. We are also developing new training content focused on misogyny and rts intersection with racism and other fomis of discrimination. This reflects a growing and well-evidenced concern within education settings about gender-ba5ed attitudes and behaviours among young people, highlighted both in re5eaTch and in wider public discourse, including recent media portrayals such as the Nefflix series Adolescence. This new strand ol work will support schools lo respo￿ in a way Ihat1S informed, preventative, and ro)led in creating sale and indusive environments for all pupil5.
