Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 2024 was a year of challenges for
Llechryd Cricket & Tennis Club, as
exceptionally wet weather put the
ongoing major groundworks at the CIO's
sports ground way behind schedule.
Consequently there wasn’t any playing of
either cricket or football at the Castell
Malgwyn ground in 2024 & that had a
major impact on fundraising.
However, despite all the setbacks &
having to play all games away from the
ground, the community spirit prevailed &
all of the numerous cricket & football
teams fulfilled their playing
commitments.
Membership & sports participation
increased across all sections during
2024.
