Para 1.20 | Wide range of users have benefited from the space provided by the community centre. Other than the regular guides, local drama society and one off events, the community centre provides space for a repair café, benefitting the wider community by provding a firnedly meting place and reducing the amount of items going to landfill. The Exbourne pre-school has also provided wider benefits by providing childcare to local residents. |

Para 1.21 | The charity took over the running of the community centre building from North Tawton Youth Club. During the period, running expenses were covered by income from venue hire. The charity has sufficient funds in reserve to cover anticipated future running costs. |

Trustees have discussed and agreed that in future reserves will be managed in a way to balance the need for instant short term access to some reserves, with some reserves in notice period accounts to obtain higher rate of return. At year end, all reserves were held on current account – investment in notice period accounts of reserves commenced in the next financial period to July 2024. |
