Utilising donations and purchasing period products to produce discreet bags of pads, tampons, or pads and tampons, to be collected from various local collection points. Also producing ‘Bump to birth’ bags of maternity pads, period pads and breast pads for people who have just given birth to support them during postpartum bleeding. Running competitions using social media/donations from local businesses to raise awareness of the issue. Purchasing marketing materials in order to raise awareness and find local organisations to work with. |

Para 1.20 | Approximately 2000 period products distributed in Daventry and the immediate surrounding area. Groups in society that benefitted from our work included family centres and food banks. The provision of period products has provided security and confidence to those who menstruate but who struggle to afford period products. By providing this service our charity ensures that those who face period poverty do need to choose between dignity and other basic necessities. |
