Objective
The sole objective of the charity is:
To advance the education of the public in the topic of the life, time and philosophy of Satguru Ravidass ji
Strategies
In line with the aims of the charity we plan to make credible information relating to Satguru Ravidass ji available to all who wish to further their knowledge on the topic
by:
Undertaking academic research and collecting literature and artifacts relating to Satguru Ravidass Ji for analysis from a contemporary angle to identify and promote the importance and relevance of the over 600-year-old history, heritage, and philosophy for present day society.
Whilst maintaining due respect for the traditionally held viewpoints, notably take a fresh look from a more scientific angle to infer a deeper and wider insight. The dual benefits of the output will be:
(a) It will have the potential of connecting future Ravidassia generations to their heritage and ancestral roots.
(b) It will be a knowledge-based resource for the benefit of the wider global community
The outcomes will connect the present and future British born Ravidassia generations to their ancestral roots and heritage which are otherwise at risk of being permanently lost under the dust of time.
Activities and achievements
Based upon the extensive and very successful community engagement and consultation programme undertaken the charity moved forward:

➢ Started collection of literature in different languages relating to Guru Ravidass Ji as our data, heritage, information, and artifacts collection efforts.

➢ Established links with reputable national and international universities: Banaras Hindu University (BHU),
Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU),
Punjabi University Patiala (PUP),

Panjab University Chandigarh (PUC) University of Wolverhampton (UoW)
and academics, scholars, learned educationalists, community groups and faith establishments to forge a working collaboration with the view of organising academic seminars to further the objective of the charity.

➢ To reach and interact with the widest possible national and international Ravidassia community audience, (and the wider community) the trustees established a mutual working relationship with Kanshi TV platform which is televised on SKY channel reaching over 200 countries. The weekly live telecast programmes by British Ravidassia Heritage Foundation are engaging with the viewers, sharing the work of the charity and collecting viewpoints and suggestions via live phone-in facility.

➢ On Saturday 25[th] Match 2023, BRHF and (UoW) University of Wolverhampton jointly organised an international seminar on the Life, Time, and Philosophy of Satguru Ravidass ji which was sponsored by Guru Ravidass Sabha Wolverhampton and attracted over 200 attendees from the divers section of the community and academics. As well as bringing the community together it also created an excitement for the international community to work together to establish our heritage which is much needed and overdue.

Statement of Trustees’ responsibility
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the finical position of the charity. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of irregularities.

Accountant’s report to the Board of Trustees on the Unaudited Financial statements of British Ravidassia Heritage – Foundation
In accordance with our terms of engagement and in order to assist you to fulfill your legal obligations under the Charities Act 2011, the trust deed and the Charities SORP 2019, we have compiled from the accounting records and information and explanations you have given to us the unaudited financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31[st] May 2023 which comprise the Income and Expenditure Accounts, the Balance Sheet and related notes.
This report is made to the charity’s Board of Trustees, as a body, in accordance with the terms of our engagement. Our work has been undertaken to fulfill the Charity’s statutory responsibilities and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept or assume responsibility to anyone other than the Charity and the Charity’s Board of Trustees, as a body, for our work or for this report.
We have carried out this engagement in accordance with technical guidance issued by the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) and have complied with the ethical guidance laid down by the institute relating to members undertaking the compilation of financial statements.
You are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the year ended 31[st] May 2023 that gives a true and fair view under the Charities Act 2011. It is your duty to ensure that you have kept proper accounting records and you consider that the Charity is exempt from the statutory requirement for an audit for the period.
We have not been instructed to carry out an audit of the financial statements. For this reason, we have not verified the accuracy or completeness of the accounting records or information and explanations you have given to us and we do not, therefore, express any opinion on the financial statements.
