If a trustee or charity contact is linked to other charities, when you update their details in this service, the details we hold about them for those other charities will be updated too. If they have provided an email address, they (and the charity contact) will receive an email to let them know their details have been updated. If they have not provided an email address the charity contact should let them know and provide a copy of our privacy notice (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/update-charity-details-privacy-notice).
The public register will only show the names of the trustee(s). We will use the personal details of the charity contact to get in touch with the charity. We will not show the charity contact’s name to the public.
