You must check these details are correct and update them if needed. Charities are legally required to have at least one trustee. You must enter the details of all trustees appointed to your charity. You must ensure that each person named is not disqualified from acting as a trustee. If a trustee leaves your charity, you must remove their details by using the “remove” button. If you have a new trustee, you must add them using the “add trustee/contact” button. If a trustee or charity contact is linked to other charities, when you update their details in this service, the details we hold about them for those other charities will be updated too. If they have provided an email address, they (and the charity contact) will receive an email to let them know their details have been updated. If they have not provided an email address the charity contact should let them know and provide a copy of our privacy notice (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/update-charity-details-privacy-notice).
