Para 1.20 | During the accounting period, the charity commissioned its first piece of new music, a double bass concerto by composer Ian Stephens. The first performance of this piece of music took place on 28 April 2023, outside of the accounting period, reflecting significant work towards organising the performance which took place during the accounting period. During the accounting period, the charity raised money, including an £8,000 grant for the commissioning of the abovementioned composition. The charity also commenced fundraising for the performance of this work. |
