Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	The objects of the Charity are for the benefit of the public throughout the world and in particular in the United Kingdom, India, and North America: • The advancement of the faith and religious practices of Islam in accordance with the Qur’an and the Sunnah. • The advancement of general education of the public, including subjects such as reading, writing, arithmetic, and computer and internet literacy. • The prevention or relief of poverty for those in need due to poverty, irrespective of their nationality, race, ethnic origin, gender, and religious beliefs, by providing grants, items, and services to individuals in need and/or charities, or other organizations working to prevent or relieve poverty. • The relief of sickness and the preservation of health, especially among people residing permanently or temporarily in Bangalore, India, by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities, and services not normally provided by the statutory authorities.

		during Ramadan, and aids in the performance of Hajj and Umrah. The Charity also provides funds for community centres, schools, medical centres, and supports various educational, cultural, social, and religious activities.
