Activities
The HBGC Foundation implements projects to help communities within and outside the UK. We focus on the distribution of food to poor and needy people and also help families and individuals who need assistance with paying school fees and going on pilgrimage, as well as assisting with the provision of basic health care treatment and religious and general education and the payment of imams' salaries.
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity (“The Objects”) Are For The Benefit Of The Public Throughout The World And In Particular In The United Kingdom, India And North America:(a) The Advancement Of The Faith And Religious Practices Of Islam In Accordance With The Qur’an And The Sunnah Amongst Muslims In Particular And Members Of The Public In General, Including Education Concerning The Teachings And Practices Of Islam;(b) The Advancement Of General Education Of The Public Including The Subjects Of Reading, Writing, Arithmetic And Computer And Internet Literacy;(c) The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty For Those In Need Due To Poverty, Irrespective Of Their Nationality, Race, Ethnic Origin, Gender And Religious Beliefs, By Providing Grants, Items And Services To Individuals In Need And/ Or Charities, Or Other Organisations Working To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty;(d) The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health, Especially Among People Residing Permanently Or Temporarily In Bangalore, India, By Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Equipment, Facilities And Services Not Normally Provided By The Statutory Authorities.
