SORP reference

achievements of the charity,

charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The Cylch meithrin y garth opened on the
6thSeptember 2022 due to no welsh
medium provision for children aged 2-4
being offered in the local area. The Cylch’s
aim is to provide Welsh
medium sessional day care to local
parents. Ti a Fi sessions also give
opportunities for parents / carers to
meet whilst their babies and young
children play, carry out activities and
listen to stories and songs through the
medium of Welsh.
The Cylch initially opened for a full day 8-
3.30pm however due to lack of interest in
the afternoon session the hours were
changed to 8-1pm during the spring term.
As the year progressed from opening,
numbers increased significantly to the point
od being at full capacity. Parents report that
they are very happy with the provision and
that children are happy in the setting. An
increased number of children are access
Welsh medium education provision as a
result of the Cylch.
