ST GEORGE ERITREAN ORTHODOX TEWAHDO CHURCH Aceounting policies For the period ended 31st August 2023 l Accounting policies 1.1 Basis of prepkiration The financial statetnents have been prepared under historical cost convention and in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities, the Statement ot Recommended Practice- Accounting and Reporting by Charities ?005. 1.2 Ineoming Resourees All incoming resources are included on the statement of Financial Activities when the Charity is legally entitled to the income and amount can be quantitied with reasonable accuracy. 1.3 Resources expended Resources expended are accounted for on an accrual basis. Expenditure includes VAT which cannot be recovered and which is included as part of the expenditure to which it relates.
