Para 1.17 | The relief of need of chronically ill young people in the United Kingdom by providing a ‘Box of Sunshine’, which is a postal box containing items that are specially selected for a young person with a chronic illness. Items will include (but are not limited to) bubble bath, lip balm, fluffy socks, sunflower seeds (for planting), sweets and a card game. |

Para 1.20 | Sending out of 197 Boxes of Sunshine to chronically ill young people across the UK. Raising funds for those boxes by means stated above. Our feedback shows how well received our boxes have been. It is often parents who nominate their children, and here a just a couple of comments we have received from parents: “I would like to say a massive thank you! My daughter received her box today - she’s absolutely over the moon. You have no idea what this means to her!” “This is the most exceptionally kind thing I’ve come across! I’ve just sat in the living room with happy tears. That’s such a beautiful thing to do. Thank you so much.” |
