Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During the reporting period the charity has had little activity. The charity is set up with educational objectives related to major trauma audit – however during the reporting period there has been a fundamental change in major trauma audit with the set of the National Major Trauma Registry (NMTR) within the National Health Service. The future strategy of the charity is crucially dependent on the NMTR, but this organisation is still in setup. Until the NMTR setup is complete it is not possible to write a strategy for the Chairty, and the future timetable at present uncertain due to the current reorganisation of NHS England. The Trustees have met twice during the reporting period and have decided not to raise any income, as the current circumstances give uncertainty about whether any funds raised could be used for the purposes set out in the TARN Foundation’s objects. The Trustees plan to keep the situation under active review in the forthcoming year. |
