Governing Document: Communities Unite is governed by its constitution.
Trustees: The charity is managed by a board of trustees. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the constitution.
Recruitment and Induction: New trustees are recruited through local networks and are provided with an induction covering roles, responsibilities, and relevant guidance.
Objectives and Activities
Charitable Objects: Communities Unite exists to promote community development and engagement through local projects and events. Main Activities:

Supporting sports and leisure activities.

Providing educational opportunities and youth engagement programs.

Facilitating community cohesion initiatives.

Achievement of Objectives: During the year, the charity delivered the following:

Funded and supported local sports programs through Hyson Green Sports.

Delivered the HAF program engaging young people in healthy activities.

Provided grants and resources for community initiatives.
Financial Review
Reserves Policy: The charity aims to maintain reserves sufficient to cover 3 months of running costs.
