Para 1.17 | ●To renovate, preserve and maintain for the people of St Just and for the public benefit, the property known as The Lafrowda Club, Chapel Street, St Just, Penzance, TR19 7LS ●To advance the education of the public in the history of West Penwith, in particular but not exclusively by promoting The Lafrowda Club as an arts and heritage centre. ●To secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features, objects and relics of historical or public interest in the area defined as that included in the area currently covered by St Just Town Council; and to educate the public in the culture, history and architecture of that same area of benefit. |

Through engagement with the public at multiple community engagement events we have further confirmed the desires of the wider community, from which we have developed our business plan proving the whole enterprise will be self sufficient, employing staff and generating enough income to continue in the charity’s purpose. At the end of this period we appointed various professionals to develop plans for the renovation project. |

Para 1.20 | Our work has principally been aimed in developing our business plan and proposals for the renovation project to better the building and secure its future at the heart of the local community. We have engaged various professional services for developing architectural plans, and Listed Building drawings for the renovation of the club building. designs will be developed with community feedback held in mind, with designs encapsulating the general requirements identified through community open days. |
