Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 In its first year the charity obtained the
rent-free use of premises in Bedford
Square, Exeter. This was extensively
used by ourselves and several other
organisations, for the purposes outlined
above.
During the course of this financial year
the premises lease ended, was not
renewed and we failed to find new
premises. Activities were curtailed but
not ceased.
A partnership with a like minded
organisation is now on the offing. This
will possibly lead to a small change in
our name and objectives – to more
closely align with our prospective
partner.
New premises and funding will likely
result.
