For the public benefit:

Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

1.To conserve, protect and improve the physical and natural environment of land at Carvinick in the Parish of St Goran, Cornwall by following good ecological practice to create woodlands and other habitats. 2. To provide at Carvinick accessible facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of St Goran and surrounding area in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving conditions of life.

This period was concerned with:

Arranging the tender for the erection of a stock fence in the top field.

Continued work with third parties on securing the underlease to the land. We worked with Forest For Cornwall and nurseries to supply trees and protection.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

We arranged volunteer days and involved local community groups in planting trees.

We created public entrances into the fields.

Formed an agreement with a local farmer to cut and remove the long grass to reduce soil fertility.

Performed maintenance to the field entrances by trimming vegetation.

Digitally recorded the tree varieties.

Held our AGM.

Summary of the main A stockproof fence was installed in top field. achievements of the charity during the year Our multi-year management plan was accepted by Cornwall Council for the discharge of planning condition 3 on PA23/09935. Planted an apple tree orchard and native and exotic trees in the shelter belt region with community volunteers. Withy planting was conducted by a local community group in the lower field. Maintained access to the fields by trimming vegetation. Further progress was made with the Parish Council and their solicitors on the underlease.
