surrounding areas, from becoming socially
excluded, relieving the needs of those people

to integrate into society through the provision
of facilities in which they can meet jointly or
individually to undertake creative, physical or
recreational activities, learn or pass on skills
and knowledge and support each other

Para 1.17 and 1.19 The CMIST charity was set up in March 2022
and is actively engaged in community
projects. We promote the shared experiences
and skills of the members. To be totally
inclusive we became a community shed, and
therefore do not discriminate on gender, or
other areas.
Projects to date include repairing and
renovating a memorable bench from thr 1st
World War; plaques for a memorable garden
park; a bell slide for a church bell; a 1970s
retro style bar for a dementia unit; planters
for relandscaping a brown site; repurposing
furniture for a local charity; our facilities is
uses by a psychiatric hospital as part of
clients rehabilitation program_;_refer from the
NHS, Mental health, Village Agents. We are
also affiliated with Watchet Hedgehog
Group; Forum and 21 and Minehead
Community Woodland-for fuel poverty;
Somerset Wildlife Trust.
