Wheldrake Recreation Association is the charity which runs the village hall and playing field. It is run by a committee of volunteer trustees, with the aim of providing recreation facilities for the people of Wheldrake
Objects: The objects of the CIO are the provision and maintenance of: 1) A RECREATION GROUND AND FACILITIES ANCILLARY THERETO FOR THE USE OF INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WITHOUT THE DISTINCTION OF SEX, RACE, OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR SAID INHABITANTS. THE AREA OF BENEFIT SHALL BE THE CIVIL PARISH OF WHELDRAKE.
