Background The Charity was fonned in February 2022 in order to take over the work of the Brook Farm Community Association (registered charity nurnber 1005869), a non- incorporated association. Since that time. work has been ongoing to transfer the assets of the BFCA. induding the le&se held for the community centre, to this new charity. Permission has been granted by the Charity to trdnsfer these assets but the legalities of sUendering the current lease and taking on a new one have still to be resolved. As reported last year. we do hope the work will soon be finalised. Once this has happened application will be made to the Charity Commission to agree to the closure of the BFCA.
