To promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in such parts of the UK and the world as the trustees shall determine by undertaking initiatives to remove plastic from the marine environment and coastal hinterland;To advance education for the public benefit in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are1) To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment In Such Parts Of The UK And The World As The Trustees Shall Determine By Undertaking Initiatives To Remove Plastic From The Marine Environment And Coastal Hinterland;2) To Advance Education For The Public Benefit In The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Focussing On The Negative Environmental Consequences Of Plastic Pollution, In Particular But Not Exclusively By:a) Providing Seminars/lectures/workshops And Other Educational Activities;b) Collaborating With Education Providers;c) Producing A Website And Social Media Content.
