To preserve, for the public benefit, Fort Halstead, a Victorian mobilisation centre (scheduled monument 303), and the associated apparatus, documents, films, photographs, artefacts, other associated buildings within the historic enclave as defined by the Fort Halstead site development plan and any other items connected to Fort Halstead. 2. To advance the education of the public on the historical work of Fort Halstead in all areas and the impact this had on today’s modern world. 3. To benefit the public by working with similar organisations in furtherance of the above objects. |

Little progress in the last year. Dstl has vacated the Fort Halstead site and all the artefacts transferred to its Porton Down site for safe keeping. The landowner is in discussions regarding selling part of the site to a developer and until progress on that has been made no formal agreements have been agreed with the Fort Halstead trust. |
