In this period the charity collaborated with Leeds-based theatre company Slung Low to support the delivery of performance and technical production workshop sessions in the city which involved 69 participants. All sessions were made available on a Pay What You Decide basis. As a small charity Leeds People’s Theatre did not contribute any funds to this programme but instead the charity’s trustees contributed their time to support the activity and raise the profile of Leeds People’s Theatre in the city. |

LPT participants also had the opportunity to take part in performances of Noah’s Flood, a Slung Low and Manchester Collective co-production in association with Leeds People’s Theatre, Ingram Road Primary School, Leeds 2023 and Factory International for Manchester International Festival. “I joined the choir for the Leeds performance of Noah's Flood, and just wanted to say a big thank you for offering this wonderful opportunity - it was a real joy and privilege to be involved.” Participant |
