OF those, 375 were $88n for family planning, 233 for antenatal and postnatal care and 1,612 babies received routine immunisats'ons. 2.889 patients atterbded outpatients with acuie illness and were assessed by the dinical officer. A totsl of 2,851 lab te6ts were done and appropriate, safe medication w88 di8pen8ed when indicated. 294 people were treated for malaria and 417 patlents who re 8eriou$ly111 required ovemtght admission for 1 or 2 nights. It has been noted that people who are covered by the scheme wesent much sooner when they have acute hearth problems, which means that the disease can be treated ore it worsens and admissions are greatly reduced.
