The PTA won 2 local grants in the year
which funded new outdoor Trim Trail
equipment.
The PTA organise regular ongoing
fundraising events – this year we held:
the annual Christmas Market and
Christmas Raffle, Whole School Film
night, Whole School Disco, Cake Sale,
BBQ at Football Event, the annual
Morwenstow Patronal Festival, and a
Uniform Sale.
Near year end we received a very
generous legacy payment.

benefit, and have taken it into account
where relevant when making decisions
throughout the year.
For instance, the guidance was useful
when successfully applying for local
grants, helping us demonstrate what our
charity does and the benefit of our work
to the pupils, parents, teachers and
wider community.

Para 1.20 The charity raised £4,499 from our
regular fundraising activities which was
used to provide enrichment activities
across the year – Music Workshops,
Circus Day, Aspiration Roadshow,
Storyteller Visit, Christmas Show
(online), paint for a new mural, display
aids for class libraries and main library,
and various school trips.
The emphasis was placed on benefitting
all pupils within the school.
In September the PTA received a very
generous legacy donation of £108,630
which completely changes the
opportunities available to the charity's
beneficiaries going forwards.
The trustees collaborated with parents
to understand the priorities of all
stakeholders regarding allocation of
funds, following receipt of the legacy.
