Support personal & professional development of graduates in public health by empowering them and putting practical skills at the centre. 4. Ofer online training resources and activities, ensuring these are open access (freely available to all) 5. Enable mentors to gain experience with interactions with a wide range of mentees 6. Explore the potential for mentor and mentee practitioners to create knowledge 7. Provide assistance throughout the research pathway, including grant applications, peer review, publications, and a platform for open publishing thereby seeking to increase the peer-review publication output of mentees from LMICs, enhancing their visibility, credibility, and impact in the feld of public health In the future, we plan to also incorporate the following activities: Peer support for mentors Develop a broad partnership of organisations providing public health services in LMICs (particularly in Africa) who can support and steer this initiative Explore providing resources with accreditation Create an award system that will reward those who demonstrate their ability to put their skills into practice, as well as for mentors Advocacy work with partners or policy makers (eg WHO) to achieve broader objectives or make further strides in advancing the face of public health.
