Objertives and Actlvltle5 The principal aims and artivities of the ¢harity are to manage the affairs of East Peckham History Tfust to advance education by promoting the appreciation of the history of and encouraging further study of enquiry into the hlstory of, the ancient wllage of East Peckham in Kent. and surrounding areas (the Areal, by but not limited to= Acquiring and ¢onseMng an archivè of historical documents. artefacts and ephernera related to the Area, and making these available to the public by, but not limlted to- In a local history tentre- and Via the use of digital archivin& Encouraging further research into the history of the Area- and Developing educational resources to enable the public to appreciate and study the history of the Area. The trustees conslder East Peckham History Trust to be a Public Benefft Entity as defined by FRS 102. They also consliler that they have complied with the duty in Section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.
