The trustees present th￿r annual report and the financial statements of East Peckham Hlstory Trust for the
year ended 31 March 2024 (the year).
Objertives and Actlvltle5
The principal aims and artivities of the ¢harity are to manage the affairs of East Peckham History Tfust to
advance education by promoting the appreciation of the history of and encouraging further study of enquiry
into the hlstory of, the ancient wllage of East Peckham in Kent. and surrounding areas (the Areal, by but not
limited to=
Acquiring and ¢onseMng an archivè of historical documents. artefacts and ephernera related to the
Area, and making these available to the public by, but not limlted to-

Via the use of digital archivin&
Encouraging further research into the history of the Area- and
Developing educational resources to enable the public to appreciate and study the history of the
Area.
The trustees conslder East Peckham History Trust to be a Public Benefft Entity as defined by FRS 102. They also
consliler that they have complied with the duty in Section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to
public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.
Achievements and Performan
The results for the year appear in the Statement of Comprehensive Income on page S.
Flnancial Review
The surplus of income over expendwture in the year was £1.125 compared to £9.348 in the yearto 31 Mar¢h
2023.
The reserve5 of the trust comprise its revenue reseNe. movements of which a￿ shown on page 5.
Structure. Governance and Management
Decisions regarding the strategy and the fLrture development of the charity are made by the trustees at
meetings which take place on a regular basis. As part of this proce55 the trnstees give due consideratlon to the
malor risks facing the charity and review the systems and procedures in Pla￿ to manage such risks. New
trustees are appolnteil from time to time as and when a need is identified Of due to re5ignatlon or retirement.
