Para 1.17 | To support the establishing of Headucate societies at universities across the UK and assist them in their work, providing a network for university student volunteers to work in tandem as a collective for the betterment of adolescent mental health literacy and awareness. To support mental health awareness and education amongst the primary and secondary school student population through the provision of information sessions, smaller group sessions and flyers surrounding mental health and how to deal with stress. For the public benefit, to promote good mental health, in particular, but not exclusively across primary and secondary schools and other educational institutions in the UK through assisting in the provision of, or directly providing, information and education sessions on mental health and how to handle stress, peer-support networks, mental health first-aid training and other such support and advice. To support the organisation of recreational activities for university students, with the object of improving mental health knowledge and the wellbeing of the persons for whom the activities are primarily intended by encouraging students to take part in social and educational events and volunteering. To act as a resource for people involved with our organisation by providing support and assistance and organising programmes of mental health awareness workshops and other activities with the same purpose. |
