The objects of the CIO are to promote for the public

The organisation arranged and promoted multiple
litter picks per week throughout the Aylesbury area.
A significant aspect of this is the provision of
equipment including pickers, high visibility tabards,
gloves and various other resources required to
complete litter picks safely and successfully.
The charity has worked with the local Council,
landowners, local groups and communities to
ensure that the areas in most need of attention are
targeted as well as the practical arrangements such
as meeting points, parking arrangements and
ensuring the litter collected is in a suitable location
for removal by the local Council following the event.
During the litter picks, members provided advice
and guidance about how to remain safe whilst
collecting litter in the area as well as taking the
opportunity to promote the benefits of keeping the
area free of litter and educating the community.
The organisation regularly attends local large scale
public events (such as Aylesbury Party in The Park
Weekend) arranged by Buckinghamshire Council
and Aylesbury Town Council with a view to
educating the public about the environmental
impacts of littering, promoting the benefits of litter
picking and promoting a re-purposing and recycling
culture.
The organisation has also worked with local
businesses, schools and youth groups (e.g. Scouts
& Guides) to arrange group litter picks for their staff
and students/members as well as craft and
educational sessions. All equipment and disposal of
waste is provided to those who take part.
