Activities

We promote community participation in a range of activities including healthy exercise and recreation and Christian fellowship. We hold regular community meals to encourage the preparation of healthy food and the social benefits of eating with a wide range of individuals.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:a) The Advancement Of The Christian Faith;b) The Promotion Of Community Participation In Healthy Recreation And The Promotion Of Good Health For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, And The Surrounding Areas By The Provision Of A Community Gym And The Provision Of Information, Advice And Training In Subjects Relating To Health Including Exercise And Healthy Living; And C) To Further The Needs Of Or Benefit The Residents Of The Neighbourhood Served By Wheathampstead United Church And The Surrounding Area, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together With The Said Residents And Any Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Residents.
