Independent Examiner’s Report to the Trustees on the Preparation of the Unaudited Financial Statements
We report on the financial statements for the year ended 30th September 2024 , which are set out in the financial report below. This report is made solely to the charity’s trustees, as a body.
Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
As explained more fully in the Trustees' Responsibilities Statement, the trustees are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements.
The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for these financial statements (under Section 43(2) of the Charity Commission Act), and this examination is carried out to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.
Basis of Independent Examiner’s Report
Our examination was carried out in accordance with Charity SORP. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. Hence, the report is limited to the matters set out below.
Independent Examiner’s Statement
During our examination, no matter has come to our attention that indicates that:
-
Adequate accounting records have not been kept.
-
The financial statements are not in agreement with the accounting records.
-
We have not received all the information and explanations required for our examination.
